Mortgage Rate Update - October 31, 2019

Mortgage rates during the past week reached a 12-week high, as trade disputes between the U.S. and China caused volatility in the financial markets, Freddie Mac reported Oct. 24 in its Primary Mortgage Market Survey. However, mortgage purchase applications were higher than at the same point a year ago.
