Cape May County tourism grew at 2 percent in 2013, a continuing bright spot in an economy still recovering from the 2007 recession.The county's tourism growth outpaced the state's, which posted a 1 percent gain last year. The numbers were released Wednesday at the Cape May County Tourism Conference. A record 87 million visitors came to New Jersey last year or 6 percent more than in 2012. Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean and Monmouth counties generated $19 billion in tourism revenues.
