CAPE MAY — City Council on Tuesday amended its flood damage prevention ordinance to incorporate new federal recommendations that boost the elevation of construction in flood-prone areas.
The ordinance, which pertains to new construction and restoration jobs whose cost equals or exceeds 50 percent of the market value of the structure, was recommended by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Read full article here
